CNHDI is also one of the institutions who went into waste heat utilization research and development in building materials industry very early. The waste heat recovery power plant center of CNBM was set up in CNHDI. In the waste heat utilization field, CNHDI is mainly engaged in engineering design, technical consultation, equipment package, general contracting and project management for WHR cogeneration plant in cement, steel, metallurgy and glass industries; engaged in R& D of thermal system and equipment and technology; engaged in R&D of new technology and equipment for clean energy, energy saving and other renewable energy.
