On April 9, 2010, the CSG (Chengdu) 12MW WHR project (glass furnace), general contracted by our institute, passed the comprehensive acceptance test successfully.

    The acceptance test was organized by Chengdu CSG Glass Co., Ltd., the test group is consist of leaders and experts from CSG, Chengdu Electric Power Bureau, Shuangliu County Power Authority, Southwest Electric Power Design Institute, Sichuan Province Jiangdian Construction Supervision Co., Ltd. Under the precondition of ensuring heat supply, the actual power output is 9883kWh, exceeding the target indicator, power quality, steam parameters, dust cleaning effect, and other assessment test results are satisfactory, and the power generation equipment compliance and operation condition are good. The project received favorable comments from all the members of the evaluation commission.

    On September 28, 2008, our institute signed a general contracting contract with the Chengdu CSG Glass Co., Ltd. on the CSG (Chengdu) 12MW WHR project (glass furnace). The project started civil construction since January 2, 2009. Through 8 months painstaking construction, under the mutual efforts of the Owner, CNHDI and relevant departments, the project started trial isolated network run from August 18, 2009, and the formal power generation with the power grid started on October 15, 2009.

    Currently, the single unit capacity of this WHR power plant is the biggest among all the glass furnace WHR projects, and the waste heat utilization is in a leading position in this industry. Its successful construction and operation makes our institute keep in a leading position in WHR field in glass industry.
